New Palos Verdes Area Montessori Preschool Now Open

LePort Montessori School announces their first LA County Montessori Preschool and Childcare Center is now open! Families living near the Palos Verdes Peninsula now have a new, authentic Montessori preschool choice.

( -- September 27, 2013) PALOS VERDES PENINSULA, CA --This month, LePort Schools, the leader in Montessori preschool education in Orange County, opened a new Montessori program, at 2342 Pacific Coast Highway in Lomita. Located on the Pacific Coast Highway, just two blocks east of Crenshaw at the base of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the new school provides convenient Montessori childcare for infants, toddlers and preschoolersfor families living in Redondo Beach, Torrance, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, and San Pedro.

By October, LePort Schools will complete the conversion of the existing facility into a beautiful, nurturing Montessori environment. Upgrades will include bright floors, wooden furniture, well-crafted Montessori materials, and a natural toddler playground to upgraded landscaping, all together making the campus will be one of the most inviting preschools in the Palos Verdes, Torrance, Redondo Beach and San Pedro area. Enhanced security features will include keypad locks, finger-print activated electronic sign-in and out, and campus-wide two-way radios for direct communication. An experienced team of Montessori administrators and teachers will work to ensure that children have a joyous and safe Montessori experience, whether they are infants, toddlers or preschool-aged children.


Several casual informational events are scheduled for the next few weeks, culminating in the new preschool’s Grand Opening event on Saturday, November 2nd, from 10 am to 12 pm.
